- To learn and experiment with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, NoSQL storage solutions, SPARK)

- To discover the main algorithms of data mining and machine learning.

CSC5003-2: Semantic Web

The main objectives are:

- To understand the Semantic Web and the Linked Open Data

- To learn how to define and exploit an ontology

- To discover the languages of the Semantic Web (RDF, RDFS, OWL)
